The organizers of the sanctions are driven by their short-sighted, over-blown political ambitions, and Russophobia. Vladimir Putin mentioned the sharp increase in inflation in Europe. In some countries, the inflation has already come close to 20% per annum. 04 Ukraine "The authorities of the Kherson region will appeal to Vladimir Putin with a request to include the region in Russia" - the deputy head of the regional military-civilian administration, Kirill Stremousov, stated. "The city of Kherson is Russian. No KPR will be created on the territory of the Kherson region. There will be no referenda either. It will be 1 decree, based on the appeal of the leadership of the Kherson region to the President of Russia. There will be a request to make the region into a full-fledged region of Russia" - he stated and added that by the end of 2022, the region will completely switch to the Russian legislation. By the end of May, a bank for ruble turn-over will start operating in the region, which, in the future, will be integrated into the Bank of Russia. The press secretary of the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov, stated while commenting on the statements from the deputy head of the military-civilian administration that the citezens of the Kherson region should decide if they want to become a part of Russia. 05 Russia On 12th of May the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia stated that Russia will be forced to take retaliatory military steps to stop the threats to its own national security in response to the Finland’s possible entry into the NATO. A formal decision will be made on 15th of May. The Russian Foreign Ministry called such statements to be "an evidence of a radical change in the country’s foreign policy". The ministry added that for decades, the policy of military non-alignment has served as the basis for stability in the Nordic region. It provided a reliable level of security for Finland, and was a solid basis for building mutually beneficial cooperation and partnership between Moscow and Helsinki, in which the role of the military factor was reduced to zero. 06 Afghanistan "The Afghan authorities are planning to buy oil and gas from Russia" - the Afghan charge d’affaires in Moscow, Jamal Nasir Garwal, stated on 13th of May. According to him, the negotiations are underway among the business circles and the finance management of Afghanistan regarding such imports. “We have decided that we really want to develop economic cooperation with Russia, so that there is some progress in the relations.
