1 Syria Last night the US special forces carried out an operation in the village of Atmeh, in the province of Idlib. The village is located in the terrorist-controlled territory. The Americans landed several helicopters with troops, and blocked one of the local houses. Presumably their target was one of the leaders of the terrorist organization "Al-Qaeda". The operation lasted for about 2 hours. 12 people were killed, some were civilians. 2 Russia - The UK Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with Boris Johnson. They discussed in details the Ukrainian crisis and the security guarantees for Russia. The Kremlin press service reported that Vladimir Putin pointed out the constant sabotage of the Minsk agreements by Urkaine. The unwillingness of the NATO to properly respond to well-founded Russian security concerns was noted as well. The NATO makes statements about the "open doors policy" as their defense. 3 Ukraine Due to the preparations for an offensive operation in Donbass - Ukraine restricted the departure of persons, liable for the military service, and persons of military age, starting from 20th of February - the people’s militia of the DPR stated in their Telegram channel. The DPR added that Ukraine called the reasons for forbidding to leave Ukraine the lack of personal data in the database, the lack of information about the visas issued to these people, the presence of cases of administrative offenses, and other reasons. This is likely being done just to not cause panic among the population of Ukraine. Lists of citizens, subjected to mobilization, were specified by the military registration and the enlistment offices. 4 Turkey The Turkish forces and their terrorist mercenaries fired rockets and heavy artillery at the villages of Abu Rasin, Zarkan and Dada Abdan, in the Ras Al-Ain region, in the north of Hasakah province. The village of Ain Diwar, near the city of Al-Malkiya, was attacked as well. A significant damage was done to the settlements - the SANA NEWS Reported. 5 Belarus - Ukraine Belarus made a note of protest to Ukraine due to the launch of a scouting UAV that crossed the border - the press service of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry reported. The Ambassador of Ukraine to Belarus, Igor Kizim, was called to the Foreign Ministry of Belarus. The ministry specified that the Ukrainian drone crossed the border on January 24th, after which the military had to force it to land. The press secretary of the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs - Oleg Nikolenko - called the statement "an another provocation". According to him, Ukraine doesn’t use UAVs. 6 Belarus Belarus can count on a strong support from Russia in formation of a single defense space within the borders of the Union State - the Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu stated during a meeting with the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, in Minsk, on 3rd of February. The military personnel of both countries will hold more than 20 joint trainings in 2022, including the "Vostok-2022". The upcoming testing of the reaction forces, code named "Allied Resolve", was discussed as well. Large-scale training will start soon. Sergei Shoigu stated that the final part of the preparation is underway. The training will be carried out by an agreement of the supreme commanders of Russia and Belarus.
