1 Syria The Syrian news agency ’SANA’ reported while citing their sources that the US helicopters took 40 ISIS terrorists from the ’Al-Hol’ prison, in north-east of Syria, in the Hasakah province. "3 helicopters of the American occupation forces, escorted by 3 combat helicopters, landed at their illegal base in Al-Shaddadi. There were about 40 ISIS terrorists on board - they were taken out of the Al-Hol prison" - the message stated. It was noted that among the terrorists there were 2 Iraqi citizens who held senior positions in the ISIS, and were responsible for the activities in the Iraqi city of Mosul, and later in the Syrian city of Deir ez-Zor. 2 Niger The ’France-Presse’ news agency reported that there was an attempted coup in Niger. Earlier the NATO Secretary General, Jens Stoltenberg, stated that the NATO regrets that not a single meeting of the ’Russia-NATO Council’ took place from the summer of 2019, since Moscow, according to him, rejected the invitation to the ’Russia-NATO Council’. 6 Russia The ’TASS’ news agency reported while citing a source in the Russian police that Vladimir Bardanov, who fired at the policemen from his house in the village of Novye Veshki, near Moscow, on Tuesday, may have been part of a criminal group that is involved in an arms trade.
