Starting from 18th of June, the city of Donetsk is being heavily shelled by the Ukrainian forces. The number of victims is growing. The DPR’s Territorial Defense HQ clarified that the death toll from the shelling reached 5 people, 12 were injured. The HQ also reported that during 18th of June, at least fifty 155mm shells were fired from the Ukraine-controlled town of Avdeevka, at the center of Donestk. "Take care of yourselves and your families. Try to not leave your houses unless absolutely necessary. During a shelling, do not leave the shelters" - the DPR’s defense HQ told to the citizens of Donetsk. The press office of the DPR’s People’s Militia showed a footage of consequenses of the shelling of the center of Donetsk by the Ukrainian forces. Earlier the press office reported that the employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the DPR were killed during the shelling. They went to put out a fire, caused by the shelling, in the center of the capital city, together with a rescue team. It became known that a military reporter, Vladislav Yevtushenko, came under one of these artillery strikes on residential areas of Donetsk while filming the aftermath of shelling. The journalist filmed the destruction from the shelling on the Universitetskaya Street, near a local cinema ’’Zvyozdochka’’. During the filming, 1 shell exploded nearby.
