Air alert was sounded all over Ukraine

On Monday the Russian forces once again attacked the infrastructure of Ukraine. There were hits in the Kiev, Kharkov, Zhytomyr, Zaporozhye, Cherkasy, Dnepropetrovsk, Odessa, Lvov, and Rovno regions. In a number of regions the local critical infrastructure facilities have been put out of action - especially in the Kharkov, Cherkasy, and Zaporozhye regions. A power outage took place in those regions. The subway in the city of Kharkov has stopped working. Some Ukrainian railways were cut off the grid, and train traffic has stalled. 1 missile strike damaged the DneproGES power station - the facility was on fire. The Novodnestrovskaya HPP in the Odessa region was hit as well. Long-range aircraft of the Russian Air Force were used in the aforementioned strikes. Kh-101 missiles were used to destroy the Ukrainian facilities. The LPR forces prevented a Ukrainian attempt to break the lines near the village of Berestovoye - the LPR forces reported on Telegram. They added that the unsuccessful infiltration attempt by a Ukrainian sabotage and scouting group took place during a shift change of the LPR forces. The 4th brigade from the 2nd army corps of the LPR firmly hold their defense line near the village of Berestovoye. The Ukrainian troops are using small groups to test the defense lines of the pro-Russian forces. Recently, the representative of the LPR in Moscow, Rodion Miroshnik, stated that the Russian military had stopped Ukrainian forces near the village of Kremennaya. Shelling and air strikes forced the Ukrainian forces to fall back, but they still lost some military vehicles. The Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić ordered the Serbian forces to raise their alert level in order to respond to any challenge, and carry out their tasks due to the entry into force of controversial measures by the authorities of the self-proclaimed Republic of Kosovo - the Defense Minister Milos Vučević stated. The Czech Republic has decided to close its embassy in Bamako, the capital of Mali, until the end of 2022, due to "the escalation of the situation in Mali, and the remoteness of Mali from Europe". The Czech forces were pulled from Mali some while ago. The decision was made public by the Czech Foreign Ministry, which added that a diplomatic presence in Mali no longer makes sense from a strategic, security, or economic point of view. The Czech Defense Minister, Yana Chernohova, noted that the Russian paramilitary group ’Wagner’ is currently operating in Mali. She added that the Czech Republic wants to stay in the Sahel region. The Czech Embassy in Mali has been operating since January, 2019. The USA presented a list of weapons for Ukraine, for 2023. The weaponry will be repaired or manufactured by the US military-industrial complex. The list of weapons, planned for the transfer to Ukraine, was published on the website of the US Defense Department. The price of the military equipment, announced for the delivery, is $400 millions of dollars. As part of the ’’Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative’’, the Pentagon plans to conclude contracts with the military-industrial complex for the repair, modernization, and production of weapons, needed by the Ukrainian forces. The weaponry will be delivered in 2023. The General HQ of the South Korean forces stated that about 80 different fighter jets, including F-35A, took off as a counter-measure after detection of about 180 North Korean military aircraft that began moving between 11:00 and 15:00, on Friday. The ’’Yonhap’’ news agency reported while citing the General Staff, that the DPRK airplanes were seen above the country, above the East Sea, and above the western coast of the Korean Peninsula. Supposedly the South Korean forces are closely monitoring the movements of North Korea in a close coordination with the US forces.
