Before that day, they met with the Palestinian groups in Gaza. 3 Lebanon The Peacekeepers of the UN Interim Force in Lebanon intensified their patrols on the Israeli border in coordination with the Lebanese army. The press service of the Azerbaijani President reported that he agreed with the opinion of Jake Sullivan on the need to start negotiations on the issue of delimiting the borders of Azerbaijan and Armenia. And also - "to underline the importance of holding such process in accordance with the 3-way statement of 9th of November, 2020". 5 the NATO The head of the NATO Military Committee, an Air Force General Stuart Peach, stated that the NATO is still ready for a dialogue with Russia, including the NATO-Russia Council. The Russian Foreign Minister, Sergei Lavrov, noted that Moscow doesn’t refuse to participate in the dialogue. Moscow proposes to restore the contacts between the military. 6 Russia - The USA The Russian Deputy Foreign Minister, Sergei Ryabkov, stated that there can be no talk about any restart in relations with the USA in the current situation. He noted that Moscow may think about deleting the USA from the list of the unfriendly countries if Washington changes the policy to Russia for the better. Sergei Ryabkov added that the chance of preserving the ’Open Skies Treaty’ is minimal. According to him - "the Americans and their allies have lost a lot of time, needed to resolve this issue without an unnecessary fuss". However, the USA and their allies still have the opportunity to reconsider their position on the treaty before the treaty denunciation law takes effect. The Russian Federal Council plans to consider the law on the denunciation of the ’Open Skies Treaty’ at a meeting on 2nd of June. Constantine Reztsov, specially for the ANNA NEWS.
