This is a special program from the ’ANNA News’. I am Constantine Reztsov. By the end of 2021, the state tests of guided weapon systems such as ’’Krasnopol-M2’’ artillery shells, and 120mm ’’Gran’’ mortar shells will be completed. This was reported by the press service of the ’’Kalashnikov’’ company. “In this year, our company, together with the ’Instrument-Making Design Bureau’ company, are completing 2 development work on ’Krasnopol-M2’, and ’Gran’ guided artillery shells. The tests of these shells are planned to be completed in 2021” - the report stated. Completion of the tests will open the possibility for a serial production of the new ’Krasnopol-M2’ shells in the interest of the Russian forces. 152-mm guided weapons system KM-1M "Krasnopol-M2" is designed to engage stationary and moving targets, both armored and unarmored, as well as engineering structures, from the 155 mm artillery systems "Msta-S", "Akatsia", and others. The KM-8 "Gran" guided weapon, developed for 120 mm mortars, is a guided high-explosive fragmentation projectile, designed to combat armored and unarmored vehicles, artillery pieces, engineering structures, during day and night, on the plains and in mountains. It can reach enemy firing position at an altitude of up to 3000 meters above sea level. We have a lot to be proud of! The ’ANNA News’ is following the events. Stay tuned.
