The Armed Forces of Ukraine randomly fired at the center of the Kievsky district in Donetsk // The Russian delegation has arrived for the negotiations
1 Donbass On 28th of March the Ukrainian forces conducted a random shelling of the Kievsky district of the city of Donetsk - the DPR HQ of the territorial defense reported. The DPR servicemen noted that the Ukrainian shelling damaged a local gas pipeline. Some shells hit a residential building on the Orbita Street, which started a fire. The Ukrainian forces fire chaotically at the residential areas of Donetsk. “The Ukrainian forces are firing randomly at the center of the Kievsky district. Some shells hit the densely populated areas near the ’Donetsk City’ shopping center" - the "Donbass Today" news website quoted the DPR HQ. The speaker of the People’s Militia of the DRP, Eduard Basurin, reported that the Ukrainian forces are low on ammo, which is why they began to lay down their weapons and surrender. “It seems like the shelling intensity goes down. I did say once that their supplies are running out” - Eduard Basurin said during a conversation with the journalists from the "Russia-24" TV channel. 2 Ukraine In the town of Energodar, a people’s council was formed for the self-organization of the town. In other places where the locals make contacts with the Russian military, joint patrols have been organized. In settlements where some Ukrainian forces are still present, as well as in the big cities - Kharkov, Kiev, Chernigov, and Nikolaev - the blockades remain. A lot of Russian forces gather near Kharkov. Likely, in the coming days, a special activity could take place in there, likely after passing the Slavyansk-Barvenkovo-Kramatorsk defensive line. The Ukrainian forces are trying to gain a foothold on the new lines of defense, but they are being destroyed by massive fire from the Russian artillery and aircraft. There is almost no resistance along the routes of advancement of the Russian forces from southern and northern directions. The remaining Ukrainian forces are gathering near the villages of Kurakhovo, Avdeevka, andMarinka, where the experienced forces of the DPR and LPR operate. 3 Donbass The city of Mariupol, divided into 2 sectors during the assault, is no longer a besieged fortress, as it was 2 weeks ago. In incredibly difficult conditions, when the main task was to save the civilians, the Russian special forces act in a coordinated and skillful manner. The Ukrainian militants infiltrate the residential areas and are trying to leave the city as civilians. The Ukrainian Nazis, who took positions in the ’’Azovstal’’ factory and in the industrial zone nearby, are being killed with sniper and machine-gun fire. Prisoners are being taken, and their number is growing. Now the situation is very difficult. Despite the visible successes of the Russian, the DPR and the LPR forces on the eastern sector of the frontline in Donbass - there are a lot of difficult tasks that will have to be solved not only by the military. 4 Donbass "The Ukrainian forces continue to try to use ’Tochka-U’ tactical missile systems to attack the civilian infrastructure and transport hubs of the DPR. Over the past day, the DPR air defense forces have destroyed 3 incoming ’Tochka-U’ missiles" - the deputy head of the People’s Militia of the DPR, Eduard Basurin, stated. He added that over the past day, the Ukrainian forces fired more than 100 rockets and shells. They used BM-21 ’Grad’ MLRS, artillery, and mortars - the TASS reported. Over the past day, 41 civilians, including 5 children, were injured during the Ukrainian shelling of the liberated territories of the DPR - the DPR office at the Joint Center for the Control and Coordination of the Ceasefire reported. 5 Turkey The Russian delegation has arrived in Turkey for the negotiations with the Ukrainian delegation - the ’Daily Sabah’ reported on Twitter. Recently the Office of the President of Turkey reported that Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Vladimir Putin agreed to meet the delegations of Moscow and Kiev in Istanbul. According to the press secretary of the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov, the negotiations could take place on 29th of March. The Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stated that Moscow is counting on successful negotiations - the RIA NEWS reported. 6 Russia Vladimir Putin ordered to develop measures by 31st of March, aimed at transferring the gas payments with the states, marked as unfriendly to Moscow. From the specified time, those countries will have to pay for gas only in rubles. The Bank of Russia was instructed to establish the necessary conditions for the payments in rubles, including the purchase by the buyers of natural gas via the Russian rubles in the domestic foreign exchange market. The European countries officially refuse to follow the method of payment, introduced by Vladimir Putin. The ’Bloomberg’ reported that the German vice chancellor, Robert Habeck, stated that the ministers of the G7 countries won’t pay Russia for gas in rubles. Seems like Europe didn’t think about the consequences of their actions when they imposed the anti-Russian sanctions. Constantine Reztsov, specially for the ANNA NEWS.
