Viktor Orban invited Vladimir Putin to hold a meeting with Vladimir Zelensky in Budapest
1 Ukraine The Russian law enforcement agencies have received an information that the Ukrainian Nazis are preparing a series of murders of civilians in the Chernigov region. According to the reports - the preparations for the bloody crime have already begun, and the massacre may take place on the evening of 6th of April. One of the evidence is an audio recording, obtained by the media. On the recording, an SBU officer asks the interlocutor, who is probably located in the Semionovsky district of the Chernigov region, to provide him with the data on several locals who can be executed for a possible help to the Russian forces. 2 Russia On 6th of April, during the negotiations between Russian and Ukrainian representatives, the presidents of Russia and Serbia, Vladimir Putin and Aleksander Vučić, had a telephone conversation. The intention to further develop the strategic partnership was confirmed. The Kremlin press service reported that Vladimir Putin congratulated Alexander Vučić on his victory in the presidential elections, as well as on the success of his political party. Vučić assured Putin that Belgrade will continue to maintain the friendly relations with Moscow. 3 Europe On 7th of April the UN General Assembly will vote on the removal of Russia from participation in the Human Rights Council. The voting is planned for 10 AM. Under the current rules, the General Assembly can remove a state from the Council by a 66% of majority of votes. The USA stated recently that the USA will try to remove Russia from the Council by an order of Joe Biden. The Russian permanent representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzya, expressed his hope that Russia won’t be expelled from the Council. He called the initiative of Washington to be "an extremely dangerous undertaking". 4 Hungary The Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orban, invited Vladimir Putin to hold a meeting with Vladimir Zelensky in Budapest, in order to resolve the conflict in Ukraine. During a press conference on 6th of April he stated that he presented this idea in a telephone conversation with Vladimir Putin. According to Viktor Orban, the French President Emmanuel Macron and the German Chancellor Olaf Scholz should also take part in the meeting. Orban added that Putin’s reaction to the initiative was mostly positive. But there are details that need to be considered. 5 Ukraine Ukraine has been constantly disrupting the exchange of PoWs on previously agreed terms for a long time - the head of the Russian National Defense Control Center, Colonel-General Mikhail Mizintsev, reported on 6th of April. The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that the exchange of PoWs, planned for 6th of April, was canceled by Ukraine. Ukraine rejected the list of their servicemen for the exchange without an explanation. 6 Russia The speaker of the Russian parliament, Vyacheslav Volodin, announced at a plenary session that today, after a long time of fighting an illness, the leader of the Russian Liberal-Democratic Party, Vladimir Zhirinovsky, has died. He was 75 years old. Vladimir Volfovich was a bright and talented politician. He was a man who deeply understood how the world works. He also foresaw many events. The final farewell to Vladimir Zhirinovsky will take place on 8th of April, in the House of Unions. It became known that the head of the committee on the international affairs, Leonid Slutsky, will become the interim leader of the political party "LDPR" in the Russian parliament.
