Budapest opposed the imposition of an embargo on the Russian oil supplies. Raja Krishnamurti sent his proposal to the head of the US state department, Anthony Blinken. In his proposal, he calls on the US State Department to work more closely with the EU on the issue of an embargo on the Russian energy resources. Recently the EU has approved the 6th package of anti-Russian sanctions. The experts point out that the new sanctions include a partial oil embargo against Russia. The restrictions will come into force after the publication in the Official Journal of the EU, on 3rd of June. 5 The USA The NATO’s Secretary General, Jens Stoltenberg, stated that the current situation in Ukraine is going in the most optimal way, but it will only get worse in the future. In the light of this prediction, Ukraine must decide on the possible territorial concessions. Such decisions will be supported by the NATO. “I have a full trust and confidence in the political leadership of Ukraine. They have to make such tough decisions, to make tough assessments.
