Russia launched missile strikes on the Ukraine’s critical infrastructure

On the morning of 10th of October the Russian forces launched strikes against the military and energy facilities in Ukraine. Explosions took place in the Kiev, Odessa, Hmelnitsky, and Rovno regions. Many cities, including Kiev, are introducing rolling blackouts. There are interruptions in mobile communications in the city of Lvov. The authorities of the Dnepropetrovsk region are planning total energy savings. The Ladyzhynska TPP in the Vinnitsa region was damaged. Some large factories have suspended their work. Ukraine stopped selling electricity to Europe. The goals of the strikes have been achieved. During a meeting, which was held by the head of the Russian Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, in the city of Simferopol, he stated that the investigators identified 12 people, involved in the terrorist act on the Crimean bridge. They are citizens of Russia, Ukraine, Armenia, and Georgia. Later, the fighting reached the territory of the city of Afrin and nearby settlements. As a result of the conflict, several dozen terrorists were killed and injured. At least 2 locals were killed, 7 were injured. Turkey maintains its military positions in Syria with the help of proxies, which Turkey is trying to enhance. They are trying to seize the rest of the Syrian territory, controlled by the Kurdish groups that pose a real threat to their security. The Kurds are trying to regain the control over the lost positions. According to the Turkish military, in order to capture the canton of Afrin, the city of Tel Rifat will be used by the Kurds as a springboard, where a sufficient number of the Kurdish forces are being concentrated. They have direct transport links with other regions, where the main Kurdish forces are deployed. "Azerbaijan and Armenia were able to agree on the fundamental points of the peace treaty. They only need to implement the treaty" - the Turkish Foreign Minister, Mevlut Cavusoglu, stated on 11th of October, during an interview to the ’Tvnet’. “An agreement was reached on 5 fundamental points, such as the recognition of the territorial integrity of each other, the demarcation of borders, and others. The only thing left is to implement points" - Mevlut Cavusoglu explained and added that the normalization of the relations between Turkey and Armenia, as well as the negotiations between Yerevan and Baku, can’t be held separately from each other.
