Russia provided India with a humanitarian aid
1 Syria Khmeimim airbase in Syria started the preparations for the air part of the ’Victory Day’ parade. Helicopter pilots from the Syrian army will take part in the parade together with the Russian air force pilots. Firstly the training will take place on the ground. The pilots train by moving one after another in order they will fly in the air later. The helicopters will fly over the airbase at intervals of 30 seconds. The Syrian helicopters will follow the Russian helicopters. 2 India - Russia Two aircraft of the Russian Emergency Service, loaded with humanitarian aid needed to fight the coronavirus, have landed in India. They delivered more than 22 tons of cargo, which includes the oxygen generation equipment, ventilators, medical monitors, and medications. On Wednesday, during a telephone conversation with the Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, Vladimir Putin announced that Russia will provide an emergency humanitarian aid to New Delhi, in order to combat the Covid-19. A disastrous situation took place in India due to the coronavirus. The country has staggering amount of sick and dead people daily. There are not enough places in hospitals as well. 3 Kyrgyzstan - Tajikistan On the border of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, an armed clash took place between the servicemen of the two countries. The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan reports that more than 20 Kyrgyz servicemen were injured. The President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, chaired a meeting of the country’s Security Council, in a narrow format. He instructed to resolve the situation on the border with Tajikistan. In the morning there was a conflict between the locals. They threw stones at each other. The incident took place in the area of the ’Golovnoy’ water distribution point. Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan consider it to be their water station. 4 Armenia The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, stated at a cabinet meeting that Azerbaijan isn’t fulfilling their obligations to return the PoWs and other detainees. He noted that "this fact is becoming an issue on the international agenda." He added that "the EU made an important statement - it noted that Azerbaijan must return all the prisoners, regardless of the circumstances of their capture". 5 The USA - Russia Joe Biden stated in his first address to the Senate and the House of Representatives of the US Congress that Washington and Moscow can still cooperate, despite the differences between the countries. He added that Washington will react to the unfriendly steps of Moscow. Joe Biden once again accused Russia of meddling in the US elections, and doing cyber attacks on the government and business. He added that in response to the actions, attributed to Moscow, Washington introduced new anti-Russian sanctions. 6 Myanmar 2 air bases in Myanmar were attacked - the local mass media reported. Firstly, 3 explosions took place on an airbase in the central part of the country. Then 5 missiles were fired at a base in the north-east of the country. There is no information about the dead or injured. It is unknown who is behind these attacks since no organization claimed the responsibility for the event.
