1 Tajikistan On 29th of June, Vladimir Putin spoke with the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, during a working visit. The politicians had a brief conversation before the start of the 6th Caspian Summit. This is the 2nd meeting of the leaders. On 10th of June, the president of Turkmenistan has officially visited Russia for the 1st time, as a president. The politicians discussed the state and prospects of the relations between Moscow and Ashgabat. He is currently the chairman of the upper house of parliament. 2 Europe During the NATO summit in Madrid, Joe Biden stated that the USA will increase the military presence all over Europe. He announced his intention to increase the number of servicemen in the Baltic countries, and send 2 additional F-35 squadrons to the UK. Joe Biden added that the USA will increase the number of destroyers in Spain from 4 to 6, provide additional several thousands of troops to Romania, and bolster the air defense forces of Germany and Italy. On 29th of June, the summit adopted the so-called "Madrid Strategic Concept". Russia was called a "direct threat". 3 Ukraine News about the special military operation in Ukraine. During the military operations near the Lisichansk Oil Refinery, the 10th Ukrainian Mountain Assault Brigade had serious losses. According to the captured Ukrainian servicemen of the brigade - the 108th battalion was essentially destroyed. Out of 350 servicemen, only 30 remain today. The Ukrainian units of the 115th Mechanized, 79th Air Assault, and 25th Airborne brigades, currently operating near Lisichansk, have a critical food situation. According to him, there are about 6 tactical battalions of Ukrainian forces in the city of Seversk, which will move, in the near future, to the town of Kramatorsk, and then to Slavyansk. "The US mercenaries call all the shots. Their targets were the points of temporary deployment of the Russian servicemen, and the representatives of the military-civilian administration of the region. The links between the detained saboteurs with the representatives of the Ukrainian special services, operating in the territory controlled by Russia, are under an investigation. 6 Yemen The Yemeni rebels violated the ceasefire, and launched a series of attacks on the positions of the government troops - the ’Khabar’ news agency reported while citing the Yemeni Ministry of Defense. According to the Ministry - the rebels conducted 86 attacks on the army positions in the provinces of Hajja, Hodeidah, Taiz, Marib, and Jauf. The rebels made several attempts to send their saboteurs across the front line. All the attempts were prevented by the government troops.
