1 Kazakhstan The CSTO peacekeeping forces will soon leave Kazakhstan. The mission to stabilize the situation was completed. The worst stage of the crisis, as stated by the country’s president, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, has been passed. The Russian representative described the negotiations as difficult, but business-like. He added that Russia won’t compromise in the demands. The concessions must be made by the USA. On 12th of January Brussels will also host a meeting of the Russia-NATO Council. On 13th of January there will be negotiations of the OSCE Regional Council in Vienna. 4 Donbass The people’s militia of the LPR detected an arrival of the Ukrainian special forces to the village of Stanitsa Luganskaya, located at the contact line in Donbass. Anton Mikuzhis, an officer of the department’s press service, told to the reporters. He explained that the mission of the special forces was sabotage and shelling of the positions of the People’s Militia of the LPR. Over the past day, the LPR-controlled village of Molodezhnoye was attacked with grenade launchers and small arms. Israel meanwhile opposes the existence of nuclear technologies in Iran, as well as the lifting of sanctions against Iran. The Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett told to the Knesset committee that the Israeli actions won’t be limited by the international nuclear deal with Iran, which is being discussed in Vienna.
