It was proposed to send Russian-made ’Mi-17’ helicopters, bought by the USA for Afghanistan. Washington is considering sending ATGMs ’’Javelin’’, and mortars, to Kiev. And also - the AA missiles ’’Stinger’’. The US Defense Department insisted on the shipment of weapons, which were supposed to be transferred to Afghanistan. Some officials in the White House are concerned about the possible dispatch of the ’’Stingers’’ and helicopters. They believe that Russia can regard such step as a serious escalation of the conflict.
